Here are a few Fluency Olympics you can practice with your children or adults who are experiencing fluency difficulties 1) Alpine Skiing Self Correction- read sentences in increasing length, how many did they self correct when a dysfluency occurred? 2) Figure Skating Conversation- ask the student an open ended question, how many dysfluent moments did they produce during conversational speech?
