March 1st marks the start of a new "umbrella" contract for Island Health. Now, any Island Health Department can book our services directly with just their Cost Centre Number. The best way to create a New Work Order is to visit our website at www.speedysteve.ca and click on the blue "Submit an Island Health Work Request" button. The form will prompt you for all the information you need to provide us in order to book the work. Submit the form and we'll call you as soon as we can with an appointment time. Sometimes our clients don't necessarily need us to do a job, what they need most is ADVOCACY and information in working with various contractors. A client called me in a panic claiming a flooring contractor told her she needed to move out of her home in order for them to do her job. Having worked extensively with this contractor, I was suspect that some wires got crossed. I listened to her concerns and called this contractor up for clarification. Working on a cool project for a client today. She has tile countertops in her rental suite and wanted to refresh the kitchen before the new tenants come in. I have used an Epoxy grout refreshing product here. It looks fabulous now! Almost like new AND the grout lines are SEALED and healthier overall.
