In the winter, our driveway becomes a private snow playground Tobogganing? Rolling down the hill? Hearing kids’ laughter as they play in their private snow globe?

After today’s announcement of the province-wide shutdown, and despite no ban on short-term rentals, we’ve made the painful decision to cancel all guest bookings during the lockdown. So we’re encouraging everyone to stay home, because this is not essential travel. So we’re part of the solution, not the engine that drives up the cases. So we stand with our frontline workers who need our support, and trying to get us out alive.... So we are protecting the good people and community of Haliburton.
