Fresh off the loom (so please forgive the stray threads!). These bits of cloth are the results of a recent class/weave along o did exploring colour. I'm super happy with the results! These are destined to become book covers for hand bound journals. Each journal will have a patterned front cover with a coordinating striped back cover. The journals are bound with a Coptic stitch and lay flat when open. This year I have paper options - 200 pages of 24lb paper or 160 pages of 3...2lb paper. The 24lb is great for pencil or regular pen, the thicker paper is better suited to markers or inks that tend to bleed. Journals will be 40$ each and ready for no-contact pickup starting December 10. I will be posting them on local crafting sites after December 10, but my followers get first dibs. Please message me if you're interested!
Sneak peek at what I'm working on, I'll have more to share next week
I started something new today! This is very exciting! What are you working on this week?
Hello friends! September was full of busyness and settling in, especially after so long without the school routine! I hope you've all adjusted and are enjoying your fall! I've made more progress on my lace weight sweater! I knew the garter stitch would relax and grow. Thanks to my swatch, I had a general idea of what the change would be, so I knit to 13" and then blocked while on the needles just to be sure I had enough length. As you can see, blocking made quite a difference!
The power is off at my house, but it's ok because I've spent years working on post apocalyptic life skills ;)
