Spiderlodge vocal students are being challenged to record the song "For Good" from the musical Wicked. The student who wins the most monthly song challenges by June will receive a video recording session with Spiderlodge producer & engineer Rick Genge performing a song of their choice! Value $200. ... Any suggestions for songs that might challenge my students in the coming months? Rock/Pop/Country/Folk/Gospel/Blues/R&B/Jazz/Musical theatre are the genres we choose songs from.

Indefinite school closures for District#33 compel us to also cancel all music lessons and recording sessions until further notice. Our 13th Annual Spiderlodge Music Festival will be cancelled for this year. Stay safe everyone, and take good care of yourselves and each other. We'll get through this together.

My pop/latin/jazz album Lotusland has sold 1,000,000 copies! That's what I'd really like to say but Im working on it. In the meantime I'm working on the final mixes for our new album "Palomino".

Star Wars is the song of the month! Students from 10 to 14 (and one adult) are learning the Imperial March and the Darth Vader Theme that I transcribed for them. I'm feeling a Star Wars guitar symphony for recital.
