We Must Give To Receive! I realize that this is not new news. Most of us are aware that we must give to receive. It is - The Golden Rule: treat others as you want to be treated, because what comes from you returns to you. Today, I want to take this idea of giving and receiving in a bit of a different direction. How do we know when we are the giver or the receiver? Really, it is like what comes first; the egg or the chicken? It is a mystery to me, just as it is a mystery to me... whether I am the giver or the receiver of my experiences. I will explain: so, I am driving along the highway and I hear in my mind, you have not talked to Lisa for a long time. Then either in almost the same moment, or for sure the same day, Lisa calls or shows up on my doorstep. Did Lisa receive my thought of her and she acted upon it? Or, was I triggered to think of her because I was receiving her thoughts of me? Am I the giver of this thought or am I the receiver of her thought? I may not have the answer to this but what I know is that every thought I have, is either coming through me from another’s thoughts and energy, or it is coming from me out into the direction in which I am transmitting it. I imagine there could be a huge discussion on this topic because there are many thoughts projected out in the world from multiple sources and not everyone of these thoughts will be of a healthy nature. Would it not be true then, that I would receive these unhealthy thoughts too if they were directed at me? The answer that comes to me is yes they would be received by me, if I was not clear in my own truth, and if I was not consciously denying entry of things that are not aligned with my truth. I also believe that the stronger you become in your own truth the more light you will illuminate and eventually anothers negative thoughts and energy, will not be able to penetrate through your light. There will be less and less things that you will need to deny. We must receive first to have anything to give. The greatest thing one should be focused on receiving is that of your own inner truth. Receive your truth and then be it. Giving your truth makes an opening for you to receive more truth. There is nothing greater or more powerful to give or receive then truth. If you come from truth then it must be so, that you attract people who also come from their truth. It is the Golden Rule. Give truth to receive truth, or I mean: receive truth to give truth. It Is Done Unto You As You Believe! It is done unto you as you believe and I say this in the most profane way. Yes, I stand in absolute reverence to a higher power and yes I can call this higher power God. Yet, I also know that I will not be judged, punished or shunned if I call this higher power Universal Intelligence, The Cosmos, My Beloved, The Ultimate Life Force, or if I do not call upon this Power at all. I believe that this Higher Power loves me unconditionally and has... been loving and supporting me to rise above all my false limitations and step through my fear of not being of any value or worth here in this earthly plane. I also believe this to be true for every soul on the planet. You are loved unconditionally and you have been given powers that our Divine Creator granted us, these powers are the Natural Laws of the universe and they operate by means of you. You do not have the power to change these Laws but you do have it within you to learn what Natural Laws are and how they operate and then use them to bring more love, more joy and more peace into the world. One of the most important Laws I believe one should know and examine is- ‘It is done unto you as you believe’. I know that even if you are unaware that what you believe is the cause of what you experience...it is still being done unto you as you believe. You do not need to know or have any reverence to God or any understanding of sacred principles or things, for your beliefs to manifest and demonstrate in the world around you, you will still operate under Natural Law. The sun rises every day and sets every night whether you can see it or not, just as your beliefs create a vibrational frequency that ripple out from you drawing and attracting the form of that frequency back to you. I also believe that by examining and/or witnessing our beliefs we can choose to keep or dismantle those beliefs that are automatic- the same beliefs that we use everyday unconsciously that ‘drive’ our foundations thought. As we challenge these beliefs and decide to change or improve them, we will find ourselves building a greater understanding of the true nature of life. The greater our understanding the more we will be able to love. The more we love, the more joy we will feel and with joy and love comes a sense of peace that passes all understanding. It is done unto you as you believe so, believe that your beliefs matter and start weeding out the ones that will create the change you desire. It is a true story! The New Dawn

Trust Your Vibes, Trusting your vibes is actually the title of one of the very first books that I read that really assisted me to understand and build a relationship with that inner voice, also known as the sixth sense. Author Sonia Choquette opened a door for me to enter the sixth sense. You can check her out on-line, you may want to start with this video ‘Expect your intuition to work’. Then you need to trust that it will work just the same as your eyes, your ears and your nose. Once you are conscious of the sixth sense you need to name it. Name it something that resonates with you which will trigger your body to feel good and excited about it. If you do this, then you will be able to rely on this sixth sense and know that it will draw and attract to you that which you desire. One of my favorite memories of my own sixth sense goes back to winter 2009. I was flying out from Kelowna, B.C to Calgary, Alta. I thought I had to be at the airport by 5:30pm because the flight was scheduled to leave at 7:30 pm. It was at 4:45 pm when I had a sense to double check what time my flight departs. On the itinerary it read departs Kelowna at 5:35 pm and arrives in Calgary at 7:30 pm. I obviously looked at the arrival time when preparing to leave.This meant I have fifty minutes to make a forty five minute drive, park my car, check my bags and get my butt in a seat, on a plane that pre-boards thirty minutes before take off, which would have been at least 20 minutes before I even arrive to the airport. If you do the math it simply seems impossible. I was told by a loved one that there is no way I can make it and I would be a fool to waste my time trying. They said, Dawn it is five o’clock on a Friday, you will not make rush hour traffic. My mind said, Yes I will! My hearts desire was to be on that plane and I just knew I would be on that plane. I had no idea how I would be on that plane but I trusted that it will happen. I arrived to the check in gate at 5:30 pm, the plane is scheduled for take off in five minutes, the people boarded twenty five minutes ago. The flight attendant says to me with a huge smile, Today is your lucky day, the plane has been delayed for de-icing. I trusted that this was possible because I believed that the Spirit which governs all things would make it so. I share this with you so maybe you too can begin to trust your vibes and build your faith in the Spirit. The Spirit is not just in the sky...it is in you too! The New Dawn
