Tonight is the final event for Spirit Song Festival 2020! We are so proud to be partnering with our friends at the Arts and Culture Centre - St. John's to bring you a virtual presentation of Tom Jackson's Huron Carole at the ACC! Saturday night's performance with Silver Wolf Band and the Inuit Throat Singing Collective, featuring Tabitha Blake and Jennie Williams. Thank you to Elder Marjorie Muise for the opening prayer.

Spirit Song Festival 05.02.2021

Opening night of "My Cousin's Cousin" with Jordan Bennett, Jerry Evans, Amy Malbeuf, and Meagan Musseau and "Gatherings" with Nelson White at Eastern Edge. These exhibitions will be open to the public starting on November 25!

Spirit Song Festival 27.01.2021

Spirit Song Festival sat in conversation with Tom Jackson this evening via zoom! It was a very inspiring session that was facilitated by First Light’s Salome Barker. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank everyone involved especially the Arts and Culture Centre, Tom and his wonderful partner Alison Jackson. We are looking forward to the final event of the festival tomorrow. The Huron Carol virtual presentation at the ACC! See you at the show.

Spirit Song Festival 22.01.2021

Spirit Song Residency Series was a supported space for visiting artists to create and spend time with their practice. They were given the opportunity to share their knowledge with several engagements in community. Featured here is the newly formed Inuit Throat Singing Collective, led by Tabitha Blake and Jennie Williams and some shots of Jordan Bennett painting for his contribution to the group exhibition, ‘My Cousins Cousin’.
