Morning reflections <3

This morning I awoke to the question from an outside source: "If saving the environment meant paying more taxes, would you do it?" And it made me wonder where we went so wrong. Since when did paying more money to our government save the environment? How come we can't do simple things, like grow a garden, spend local, group initiatives, resource libraries, etc to offset our harm to the environment? I've always felt that it is vitally important that we return to nature, and wor...k holistically with the planet. It is our home. To me, our lack of respect to our Mother is what is the base cause for much disharmony among humanity. When we seek inwards, the answers are there. Not outside of ourselves. Simple living, not needing to fill up the "hole in the soul", observing the abundance and consciously connecting with our Creator will heal everything and everyone at lightning speed. But we have to allow it. And stop falling prey to the belief that some money is going to fix the problems we face.
