SATURDAY, MARCH 21 CITY PLAYGROUNDS CLOSED Following the guidance of Huron Perth Medical Officer of Health Dr. Miriam Klassen, the City of Stratford has now clo...sed all municipal playgrounds, as well as the all-wheels skatepark, as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19. STATUS OF PLAYGROUNDS IN HURON PERTH: It is reasonable at this time, with evidence of local transmission of COVID-19 in surrounding communities, to close playgrounds and other such structures (i.e. skateparks) that encourage interaction. - Dr. Miriam Klassen Signs are being installed at those City play facilities today to inform the community of that measure.

SPLASH PAD NOW OPEN With warmer weather on the way, we have turned on the water to the sprinklers, jets, fountains and buckets at the Anne Hathaway Park Splash Pad, at the corner of Downie and Bruce streets. It operates daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
