I jusr finished this cute little coffee table for my mama, again in red - her favourite color. This time though, I did a paint pour on top with black and a touch of white and then finished the sides and legs in black. Another project finished about waiting to be picked up by the customer! This beauty had been sitting in shed covered in bird droppings and who knows what else! Yuck! It looks like it should have been simple enough to do, but someone had refinished it at some point in the past and whatever they used to seal it did not want to come off. So you would think with all this extra free time on my hands now because of everything that's been going on in the world, I would have a lot more projects finished. That hasn't been the case for some reason - although I have gotten a lot more naps in... Anyway, I've finally been getting back on track, and I've managed to finish up this little dresser that I got for my Mom. A little paint (red is her favourite colour), switched the handles, and replaced the mirror, and it l...ooks as good as new! After leaving my job with the Edmonton Police Service a little over five years ago, I was lucky enough to be able to still remain in the choir. Every year on the first week of December, we travel with the Edmonton Police Pipes and Drums to two different nursing homes a night to perform Christmas concerts. It's a long week and a bit tiring by the end of it, but it's a wonderful and very heartwarming way to get into the Christmas spirit! The seniors are always so happy and a...ppreciative of us being there! But now it's over again for another year, so back to reality ... and work! I was able to finish off this Grinch for a customer last night.
