Remembrance Day is always a particularly tough day for me. Not only because I honour the sacrifice of so many brave men and women, but also because it was the day my son was diagnosed with cancer when he was 4 years old. As the years have passed and my son grows older and bigger and stronger I am extremely grateful for the reminder every year on this anniversary. It reminds me how far we've come as a nation and as a family. It reminds me of all the sacrifices so many have made before us and for us. To ensure our freedom, safety and way of life. Today I Remember and give to thanks. #remembrance
