I know this is likely to stir up a hornets nest of personal opinions, but a constructive dialogue is always welcome! Personally, I love e-bikes. They are exhilarating and open up tons of riding possibilities for anyone. They are not for old people, or lazy people, and certainly aren’t cheating. I raced one at an even at Hardwood a couple of years ago and averaged an almost identical heart rate to that I would see at an Ontario Cup race.... The link below offers up some science to bolster my argument. Science is good. From what I’ve seen, most people who dislike the concept of e-bikes have not had the opportunity to really ride one for an extended period. The post-ride smiles tell the story! Does anyone have experience to share?

I had so much fun yesterday on my new #norcobikes #revolver120 that I had to go back to Jefferson Forest for a little more #sendit! It’s not too often these days that my dear wife Kelly and I get to ride together...so this was a precious outing after the days hockey duty was over. This was goes out to all of the 40 year olds who come into the store saying I’m too old to... You’re never too old to push boundaries, break down barriers and give ‘er!!!

I know this isn’t pretty... but Steve P and and I have been eyeing up the big gap jump the last several times we have hit Jefferson Forest. It’s about 10ft across with a DEEP hole in the middle. Thanks to upping my bike game with a shiny new Norco Revolver 120, I had the hardware to help me find the courage to #sendit. The geometry on this rig allows it to pedal like a race bike yet jump and play like a trail bike. What an amazing amalgam of talents!... #newbikeday is always the best kind of day! Let me know if you are interest in a medium or small Revolver 120 from last season in the sweet red/black fade. Hard to find a better riding bike with better components at its price. Love it so much I bought one myself. There’s no better endorsement than that!
