We evacuated to our camp on little vermillion this morning . Mason and kids are safe in ear falls and Carson is with us . Taylor is still in town at the hospital , when and if it closes she will join us . Of course maddie safe in Winnipeg .

And for any of you watching the camera , the flamingoes I put out to hopefully deter the eagles and babies from snatching up one of my dogs . I don’t know if it works but I’m giving it a try.

I posted that I’m cleaning cabins finally , but not that there will be any guests arriving . Just want to let everyone know that when and if the US president and our Canadian prime minister decide to mutually agree to open the border , we will be ready . We miss you all and can only pray that we won’t loose this season .

June 21 st and I just started cleaning the cabins for the season . Brett just got the water going to them . Wow . Covid has sure put a wrench in things !!!

Didn’t get a lot accomplished today as Brett flew into town to get Hudson our grandson and then he didn’t come out anyway. A bit of laundry , cleaned my cabin a bit and put the flags up . Windy windy here today !

Very nice evening at Sportsman’s lodge. May 31st. Only thing missing is some of our customers- friends-

Got a lot accomplished today , just Brett and I, moved the stack of lumber by cabin 8 , cleaned up the old lumber in front of the old shower house soon to be staff quarters , mowed th lawns , laundry that accumulated over winter caught up , burned trash well some of it moved ice fishing stuff , and bbq some kick ass burgers for supper . Brett has gone to look for th movie the edge and hope he finds so we can wind down watching that as tv isn’t working , need new smart card !
