As Ella Fitzgerald once said " Music is the universal language......It brings people closer together." This could not be more true given our current situation. Our young students at Spotlight Academy have helped us to see this even more. As their final winter showcase was cancelled due to the pandemic, they could have been angry, or sad but instead they used it as an opportunity to inspire others with their talent and passion. With one quick Zoom class, some phones, ipads and (virtual) help from their Spotlight Staff, these kids were able to showcase their hard work and talent all while working together! These young kids bring so much light into to this unprecedented time and we could not be more proud of them. This is what it is all about!!!!! Please show them some love and share this post. Dear Spotlight Fam, As always, your health and safety is our top priority. In light of what is happening in our world with the ongoing COVID-19 developments, we are continuing to focus our energy on the wellness of our students and staff. Due to the unpredictability of the virus, we will take this week that we are off from Spotlight to closely monitor any new developments. Upon officially returning to class, expect an email from us outlining how we will proceed should matter...s escalate. We love you all so much, and will keep you posted. A triple threat training program which will encompass elements of Music, Drama and Dance and no doubt give your child their moment to SHINE in the spotlight!
