Ladies! Listen up We are launching the West End Women's Wellness Group, graciously funded by the Vancouver Foundation Neighbourhood Small Grant through the Gordon Neighbourhood House. If you are in your 40's living with an invisible illness, impacted by trauma, living on a fixed income. This group is for you. How's strengthening your sisterhood of support, of sisters who get it (living with stigma, poverty, and loss.) sound? Here, you will experience being held, love...d and be empowered, fuelling you to continue living bravely beyond the seen and unseen health conditions. Show the world that those conditions live with you, not you with them. Did I mention Feeling WORTHY of living the lifestyle you love and having the drive to claim it. Follow the link below to register for the Supportive Connections West End Women's Wellness Group

July 14, 2001 I attempted suicide. The sun was shining, the creek was clear and the deer were grazing in the field close to the edge of the forest. We were getting the house ready for mum's return. Over all it was a good day....until it wasn't. I don't remember exactly what it was that sent my world in a tailspin, and at this point it doesn't really matter....anymore.
