Here is an example of painted MDF that was recently sprayed for a customer. Gives you an idea of how well MDF paints. These doors were foil wrapped in really bad shape. Foil wrap on doors was splitting peeling. The client easily removed the foil wrap and was left with the raw unpainted Mdf.
The second coat of finish paint is going on the fronts of the MDF doors that had the old peeling foil wrap. One more coat to go after this. They look great! Mdf sprays nice. If you are considering replacing your doors with a different style we do have a supplier for Raw unfinished MDF that can be sprayed your choice of colour to match the boxes that we paint at a very reasonable price. We look after ordering, adding hinge cup holes and handles.
This client decided to use his DIY skills and removed, cleaned, labelled doors, removed hardware and dropped off the doors to our shop for spraying. I put together a kit containing cleaning supplies, sandpaper, primer, and finish paint, along with instructions on how to paint the boxes. These doors had a foil wrap that was cracking and coming off in places. He was able to remove foil and was left with RAW MDF doors that we are priming and painting. MDF. Sprays beautifully. The doors will look like new when done. We will try to work with you if you are on a tight budget, or DIY.
Another Golden Oak kitchen disappears. This customer purchased a new home, and wanted to give a fresh look to this kitchen. The upper cabinets are done in Chantilly Lace. It will be beautiful when completed. If you have a kitchen you would like refinished, please contact us for a quote.

Finish paint being sprayed on a primed door.
Kitchen in Progress. This was a recycled kitchen that the clients found. It is maple and had a dated look but in great shape and quality workmanship. It was saved from the landfill and refinished to give it a new life. The kitchen will have a quartz countertop, wood floors and a large farmhouse sink installed. A great way to recycle, save money and have a beautiful kitchen. I will post another photo when it is complete.
We refinished both of these bathroom vanities in Chantilly Lace. This is our most popular white shade. The cabinets are deep grained oak. I painted the boxes with a small roller and brush and the doors were sprayed at the shop.
Here are before and after photos of completed kitchen. Thank you to Roger Bouma of Bouma Re/Max Jazz Inc for referring this customer. Kitchen has been sprayed in Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace. The island painted Benjamin Moore Willow.
Ready to Re-Install Kitchen and bathroom vanities. Painting is complete. The original handles were in great shape but wrong colour for customer. Rather than replace them I sprayed handles. Doors are packed in bubble wrap for delivery. You can see in photos how I numbered each hinge corresponding with door # and top or bottom hinge. This insures each door is still adjusted same as prior to removal. Photos of completed job to follow.
Applying primer to one side at a time
PROCESS FOR DOORS we have approximately 70 doors and drawer fronts for this customer. Each piece is scrubbed with a degreaser on both sides. We even use toothbrushes to get into crevices. This step takes a couple of days but is a very important step. Once they are cleaned we spray a shellac based primer on both sides.
The cabinet boxes are completed and ready for doors. Items can be placed back in cupboards now as it won’t interfere with installation of doors. The next seven days will be spent working on the doors at the shop. Updates to follow.
