Westbank recently held a one-night-only Lunar New Year Party & Special Sales Event at the First Light Presentation Gallery in Seattle. The evening welcomed 550 guests and offered attendees a special opportunity to purchase a home at First Light as well as spin a prize wheel to select an accompanying gift with their home.
‘Light as a Common Thread’ is an exhibition at First Light that weaves together the work of artist John Hogan, architect James KM Cheng, PFS Studio Landscape Architects and Westbank, as each conceptualizes their vision for their first architectural collaboration in Seattle. The name of this exhibition comes from an essay of the same name by artist John Hogan, describing the glass artwork he has created for First Light. Light as a Common Thread and the First Light Presentation Gallery are open daily from 11am to 5pm at Third and Virginia, Seattle.
The residential interiors at First Light echo the three core themes of industrial materiality, elevation of craft and purity of design that are expressed throughout the project.
First Light is part of the troika of projects leading Westbank’s efforts in Seattle and will soon join their global body of work throughout Vancouver, Toronto and Tokyo. Set to reinvigorate Seattle's architectural ambition and bridge the heart of Belltown with downtown, First Light is complete with spaces defined not only as homes but total works of art.
A NEW DAWN: We are excited to introduce First Light by Westbank Corp, a new residential tower coming soon to Seattle. Created with Westbank’s long-time collaborator, architect James KM Cheng, First Light is an elegant tower that will add style and grace to the Seattle skyline.
