Spring Valley Community Association

I went over to the meeting at the high school tonight about the construction project of the new Spring Valley Elementary School. The various speakers described the 4 phases of the project that is expected to last 12-16 months. It sounds like they're in the asbestos abatement phase now. Demolition next. Then Construction of the 2-story building. And finally site servicing which would be when they do the final path restoration. Most of the meeting focused on how they may be able to keep the CH Bray path open with a temporary reroute of the normal path. The final path will be paved with curbs, etc. The biggest path problem is from Rembrandt path being completely closed. The school board promised to keep everyone updated on their website. I suggested that they also update our community through this Facebook page. We'll see.

Another letter to the school board. Think about all of us writing our own letters ... every voice will add to a swell of protest.
