Spring Hill Dental 30.12.2020

Dentistry was in the news recently as the WHO (World Health Organization) stated that countries that are still with high Covid numbers should not have patients doing routine dentistry. Although Canadian news agencies reported this, most of them left out the fact that it does not apply to Canada. https://www.cda-adc.ca//stat/who_clarification/default.asp

Our Safety & Health Coordinator, Matthew Bullee is a Certified Respiratory Fit Tester for Canadian Kraft Paper and he was able to assist the crew at Spring Hill... Dental with their respirator fit testing. He ensured the proper fit of their new masks. CKP is proud of our community and glad that we could be of assistance to Spring Hill Dental as they implement these new measures help to keep their staff and our community safe! Great job everyone. ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SPRING HILL DENTAL - REOPENING Spring Hill Dental has been closed since mid-March as per the Manitoba Dental Association's (MDA) recommendations. Recently, the MDA has announced a staged approach to re-opening for dental offices. WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT AS OF MONDAY MAY 25, 2020 SPRING HILL DENTAL WILL BE OPEN.... Over the last few weeks, we have been working hard to ensure that we have the proper PPE, administrative/clinical protocols in place and that our Team Members have been well trained for our new COVID-19 times. Please note a few things... 1) As per the MDA, we are not accepting walk-in patients. If you need an appointment or need to speak to us, please call. All patients entering the clinic must be pre-screened by phone. Our front door will be locked. 2) We are limited to emergency and urgent dentistry only by the MDA until June 1, 2020. After that, we can begin to move back to regular dentistry. 3) If you were an emergency patient who was treated with antibiotics (or other means) while we were closed, you will be called in the next couple of weeks to bring you in to assess and treat your dental issues. 4) If you had an appointment booked with us during the time we were closed, we will also call you to rebook your appointment and treat as required. 5) We are currently only booking emergency and urgent treatments. Once we've helped all those people we will begin booking 'preventative' treatments (i.e. simple fillings, checkups, crowns, hygiene, etc). We are expecting our phones to be busier than normal so please accept our apologies if it takes us a day or two to get back to you or if the line is busy. Please understand that we will first be treating the more urgent situations and then we will begin treating the more preventive treatments. This has been a frustrating time for us as we have been very limited in how we can help our patients. We are excited that we can begin to return to something close to normal. We look forward to seeing and helping you again. We will not be checking our Facebook account for messages, so please contact us by phone only. Thank you. We would like to thank Canadian Kraft Paper for their generosity and help. They have been instrumental in helping us re-open. Your Spring Hill Dental Team. 204-623-1999
