We all need to think about how we can best protect others and ourselves. Our circumstances are unique, but the things we need to do to keep each other safe are ...the same. Be thoughtful. As the situation related to COVID-19 continues to evolve, we, along with many organizations, are implementing important measures to do what we can to help reduce the risk of spreading the virus. With many older clients, we've decided to implement the practice of social distancing and are now encouraging our team to discontinue in-person meetings. Instead, we're encouraging advisors to keep in touch with clients via telephone, email, or through virtual meetings. As well, with... the safety of our staff in mind, should we deem it necessary to close our office, please note that we are both fully capable and completely prepared to work from home. Lastly, please be safe and take time to unplug from the media. Go for a walk, enjoy some sunshine, and try not to worry because this too shall pass. The markets are going to do what the markets are going to do, and no amount of worry will change that. We are monitoring things carefully and will update you as market conditions change. Please do not hesitate to call or email anytime as we journey through this together. For more information, here is a link from Canada Life on the evolving situation. https://www.canadalife.com//how-canada-life-is-supporting- We appreciate your patience and understanding as we deal with COVID-19.

Springleaf was out on Saturday for the Coldest Night of the Year. We walked 5km and fundraised to support and serve the hungry, homeless, and hurting families in our community. Our goal was to raise $1000 and led by our team captain, Ty Trusz, we ended up raising $2,550. Kelowna in total raised 119% of objective, raising a total of $47,857! Big thanks to everyone that supported this great cause and we can't wait to see you out next year! #coldestnight
Merry Christmas everyone - the Springleaf office will be closed from now until December 30th and on January 1st. Thank you all for a fantastic year!

Shane Trusz and Neil Daponte have just returned from a missions trip to Haiti. The team did a lot of work around the 5 acre orphanage, and certainly took time to play with the kids.
