Hi everyone. Booking for the spring and summer of 2017 is well on its way and we are looking forward to another great summer on the beach! While the snow is still here, we are trying to do things like update our website. We would like your input. I just had some fun trying to figure out and post a photo slideshow for everyone to enjoy. As I was previewing it, I heard my oldest son whisper something to my daughter. She came and stood beside me and then yelled back over her shoulder, "Mommy's here just watching the beach!"

Here are a few more pictures of the snow in Port Elgin over Christmas and New Year's. It was beautiful and so cold....at least the wind made it feel colder than it was. I was out and about in town and decided to go down to the lake to check out the waves and ice. After only a few moments out of the car, any of the exposed skin started to ache with the sharpness of the wind. The scenery and to witness the power of the waves made it totally worth it.

If you haven't seen Port Elgin in the Winter, it can be fun then too. The amounts of snow are piling up already. The water is way too cold but the ice sculptures from the waves and the blanket of snow is amazing. The kids and I have been going for hikes, sledding and other outdoor activities. We are excited for a White Christmas.

Bookings for summer 2017 is now open for anyone who rented in 2016. On February 1st, 2017, booking will open to the public for any dates still available. Merry Christmas

Beautiful weather to be exploring the area in and around Port Elgin. I have been here working on the cottages and for my sister but it sure is fun and relaxing with the beach so close and everyone in vacation mode. The fireworks at the Bruce Power weekender down at the beach were spectacular. I'm looking forward to enjoying more of the summer to come....I hope all is well with you, Kori

Hi everyone. This spring has been great. It has been really nice weather mixed in with typical spring weather. We spent last week at the cottages painting and having fun in the sun. Here is some of our photos.

I've been working in Port Elgin a lot over the last couple of weeks getting ready for the summer. The weather has been a little odd but beautiful all the way around. It is sunny and warm on the weekends. That is perfect for relaxing and enjoying all that Port Elgin has to offer....especially walks along the beach. It is colder and windy on week days. That has been perfect for working outside on the cottages. It works for me!

I hope that everyone is doing well. I'm back and forth to Port Elgin a lot these days. The kids and I are excited by the thoughts of days at the beach this summer. It is so nice to see the greenery around Port Elgin and people out walking and enjoying the weather. The anticipation of a beautiful summer and relaxing times fills the air.
