Just because the clinic day comes to an end, doesn’t mean my day is over. Far from it actually. I know I’m not a parent and probably shouldn’t be complaining. But on average, after my day ends, I do roughly 2-3 loads of laundry a night. A NIGHT! Laundry that has to be washed/dried at high temps for longer periods thanks to #covid. The new blankets alone are adding 1-2 loads nights. As a single person, I find this ’s, but it is all part of the job. This means that so...metimes evening plans get cancelled because I won’t have sheets or blankets for the next day if I leave the house. And it definitely means that my personal laundry only gets done on weekends because the night is only so long (and I go to bed at 9:30 lol) So if you are ever wondering why I don’t work later into the evening....trust me...I am! You just don’t see it.
