Pride celebrations over the decades
Health Update for Spruce Grove GSA I feel horrible writing this update. As of today, November 24th, we will be postponing our meetings for our GSA.... Technically we could still meet outside... but asking the kids to reduce our numbers even more is just too hard. Normally we have 18-23 kids in our GSA. Reducing our numbers to 15 was hard. Reducing to 10 is even more difficult. We will be offering one on one outside meetings with our teens and adults, but we will still be physically distancing and wearing masks. Please be safe and reach out to us at any time!
Throughout its first 25 years, the ISCWR re-shaped drag entertainment in Edmonton and created recognition programs for the LGBTQ2S+ community. The ISCWR also challenged the rigid notions of the International Court System. Thank you Ron Byers for this fabulous and informative article!
According to Google, "who is marsha p johnson" is a breakout search. This Trans Awareness Week, let’s remember the decades of effort that the trans community an...d its allies have put in to fight for equality. Here’s a look at the historic Christopher Street marches through the perspective of the Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries group from the 1970s. Many religions and faith traditions are strongly opposed to conversion therapy and affirming of LGBTQ2 people. Your faith, gender and sexuality should not be mutually exclusive. Thank you to the United Church of Canada for their leadership and ongoing support for our LGBTQ2 communities!

When you come out, people sometimes take a while to adjust to your new pronouns, or don’t quite understand. Does someone you know struggle with the use of pronouns for our transgender, non binary, and gender non-conforming family and friends? Share this awesome resource and practice typing the pronouns to various questions!! https://pronouns.minus18.org.au/
