Well our first little guy, Goose has flown the coop! He is in the arms of his new mom Katrina in NFLD. Thank you Wayne for helping us with the flight and CargoJet getting him there safe in the snow last night. Good luck with your new little brother Bumper!

In other news.....our 5 Survivor puppies all got a clean bill of health today from the wonderful Dr Pugsly!! Oh and lots of cuddles from all the staff!!

Big day at the vet today!! We are having Puppies March 22 if all goes well!! Lola and LB puppies both first time parents!! We are sooo excited.

So I know I post this kind of picture a lot but this time it is a very special picture. I don’t post very much bad stuff on here but breeding these guys sometimes there is bad stuff. Piper is a wonderful mom and with our us knowing her c section incision had opened a bit not being able to see this bcus of her enlarged milking nipples we found it and it was red and inflamed. She never changed her attitude or her intention to be the best mom ever. I called my vet right away (o...f course on Sunday) and she said bring her in first thing and we will fix her up. We didn’t have that chance. 5 mins after that call, we have no idea how, her incision let go and her insides were on her outsides. Thankfully we were right there when it happened!! We scooped her in a blanket and drove to the emergency vet. We talked about the best course of action as she was nursing and they proceeded to fix her up. We came home and she seemed happy until about 4 am then the vomiting started. I called the emergency vet and they said it was probably just stress. Nope. So we called my vet in the morning and rushed her in. She was in shock bcus some of the left behind tissue had started to die. So into surgery she went again. She was kept all day and I picked her up at 6pm last night. We kept her as quiet as we could but no nursing puppies until the meds had all left her system. So how do u feed 5 hungry puppies who won’t take a bottle...... You bring Annabelle out of retirement and ask her to step up to the plate and she did!! She let all the puppies pretend to nurse on her while we syringed puppy canned milk over her nipples so the puppies could eat! So a big thank you to Liane my friend and vet that continued to talk me off a ledge when I thought we were gonna lose momma. To Riverview animal hospital for putting her back together and Kelsey for keeping me updated as they did things. Kennedy and Dave for helping hold down the Fort at home so I can go to all the vet appointments. And to Kim and the wonderful staff of Adeline Animal Hospital for completing the job and making it possible to take this picture. It truly takes a team to raise these wonderful dogs. So hopefully I will get a nap today lol. Please keep piper in your prayers as we aren’t completely out of the woods but definitely headed down the right path!

Well 2020 is almost over and I am happy to say we are at least ending it on a high. HAPPY NEW YEAR, love all of us here at SHB!!

So some of u may know but I’m sure a lot of u don’t, Irene is not a lazy bulldog. So we started with Pawsitive Connection in October and we are having a blast!!

I’m thinking that Irene needs her own instagram and FB account. She makes us laugh every single day!!!!

So 1 more week in the books and 2 weeks to go!! Piper says let’s get it done I’m tired of being fat already!!

Well here it is!!!! Finally after a long summer of landscaping we have the new pen for the dogs!! No more pools to fill no more water to fetch!! They have their own natural pond to play in all summer!! U may catch me floating in it too!! Thanks to Infinity Landscaping for a job well done.

Well Ivy has decided if she is gonna be here for a while she might as well be a good big sister. So Ivy told me to tell everyone that Wanda makes a great cuddle buddy if you are looking for one!!

Anyone out there need a few cuddles while they are on lockdown? Wanda is available to give some!!

Here is your laugh of the day. So everyone on here(I hope) knows that my dogs are spoiled and have lots of dog beds. Not to mention they are allowed on the couch and recliner. But Irene decided that she was gonna sleep right here.

So we finally moved Wanda out to the big pen and I think she likes it! she is available and looking for her furever couch!

When you struggle to get comfy at grandma’s!

So this is the first litter with only one puppy and let me tell you she is eating well!! We now call her Wanda the land hippo!!

So I don’t like giving sad news on here as I know most of you check in for your daily dose of laughter and cuteness. First I want to say thank you for all the prayers for our sweet little girl! But yesterday was a hard day for us here at SHB. Mary fought her little heart out but it was becoming clear that she was getting worse and we didn’t want her to suffer. Yesterday morning she joined her friends on the other side of the rainbow bridge. I can’t wait to see her again someday running and playing all grown up. You were certainly loved by all of us before you left much too soon Mary. Xoxoxo

Ivy is hoping her little sister gets better soon! She is trying to be a big helper.

Update: Got in to the vet this morning and got some good drugs! Mary is feeling much better. We aren’t out of the woods yet but at least we seem to have found the path! Keep them coming it is working!! Xoxo We could use all our prayer warriors out there right now. We have a sick girl. We are doing all we can for her, but some extra love goes a long way!

So Ivy made her first trip to the barn with me today to help teach lessons. She was a very good helper!!

We had so much fun at our photo shoot with Tracy Munson to support all the wild life in Australia. Our little girls were rock stars!!

Ivy says having new puppies is exhausting!

I am so excited to announce that our sweet Tinsel has found her forever home!! She will even be going to live with her big sister Lola (Tater tot when she was here). Congratulations Jen and Paul I cant wait to watch her grow up!!

So this video might not be much to all our Facebook friends but it is means a lot to me. These two little dolly’s were born a bit early and have been very noisy. Noisy is good when they are born, as we all know it means that everything is working well. But these two have not stopped crying for the last 24 hours. They have had gassy pains in their tummy’s. They are finally on the right path and their tummy’s have settled and they are crying much less. It’s a wonderful moment for me!
