We will soon be posting about the second 1/2 of the season and know that this is a very trying time financially for many. This is a program that you may be able to access to help with your registration costs. https://assistfund.hockeycanadafoundation.ca/en/index.html
Attention parents of teams who play at the Rhodes and/or Rankin! Please make sure you have signed the arena waivers and either given the printed one to your team manager or sent an email copy to Amy Tolin. Managers: Please confirm with Amy Tolin whose waivers you have. We need to have all of them on file (either you keeping the copy or an email copy) by November 1st.
Have a fun and safe night trick or treating.
If you were to play on Halloween night please check your schedule as some changes have been been. We also now have ice available to rent on Halloween night. If you are interested in ice that night please message us or call the office.
Keep us on the ice by doing your part off the ice - practice physical distancing, wash your hands and wear a mask.
From our families to all your families we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
Parents: Please remember to follow ALL safety guidelines at all of the arenas. We want to ensure safety of all players and parents and in turn will allow us to keep playing.Parents: Please remember to follow ALL safety guidelines at all of the arenas. Check them out for your hockey needs.
Thank you to all the families who have been to the arenas this week so far during our Return to Play! We appreciate all the efforts people are making as we navigate this new season! From masks to which side of the arena to sit in, to how many in a dressing room, you have all done amazing at adapting. Please continue to follow all guidelines so we can stay on the ice!
Please remember to arrive at the PeeWee arena no earlier than 10 minutes to the hour. If you are to go on at 7pm please do not come to the arena until 6:50. Your player will have 20 minutes to get ready as the Zamboni is on the ice until 10 minutes after. This gives the arena workers time to clean and disinfect the dressing rooms. Thank you.
Hey coaches, looking for some ideas? Check out this article from the Ontario Minor Hockey Association on 5 apps to use as a coach.
