SPY Underground Cable & Communications is now accepting applications to join our team this spring! Our Underground Cable Repair team is responsible for maintenance and repair for Rogers. We require individuals that are motivated, reliable and experienced in hard cable troubleshooting and splicing. Candidates must be experienced and able to complete the following:... - Cable locating - Troubleshooting trunk & distribution cable - Splicing trunk and distribution cable - Pulling fuses and re-energizing amplifiers - Setting up (RF) line extenders (post repair) - Validation and record keeping of cable integrity (post repair) Requirements: - Valid G class drivers licence - Capable of physical tasks including digging splice pits and restoration - Able to work in various weather conditions - Fall protection training and experience - Must be able to carry and set up a 24’ extension ladder - Experience working safely on communication strands - Good customer communication skills - Able to work in a team environment - Must have good time management skills - Technicians must be available for an internal on-call rotation - Experience in trenching and small bore shots Area’s Hiring: - Brampton - Orangeville - Orillia - Collingwood - Owen Sound What’s in it for you: - Wage 17 20 dollars an hour - To be apart of a reputable and safe company - Great team environment - Production bonus’s If you feel that you would be a good candidate, please submit your applications to [email protected] , we look forward to hearing from you!
