Alot will change in the coming week and shop wont be the same also it will be appointments only but we are Not taking any booking at this moment since we have no idea what we need to meet these new requirements etc. On personal note Its going to be hard saying goodbye to my beard after 3 years but it has to be done for the safety of others and my own. *** A MESSAGE FROM YOUR FRIENDLY DOWNTOWN BARBER / STYLIST *** I just wanted to say Hi and offer some help to those in need. Although the powers that be, view my industry as non essential, I feel a lot of us see it as quite essential to aspects of our well being. Working behind the chair is not just about cuts and/or colour. For some its a break from a crazy work schedule or from the stress of a fussy newborn in the house. Its about having a sounding board or therapis...t. I always looked forward to talking with my clients about their going ons... Adding to their ideas or getting guidance for my own. Its about connecting, as well as getting cleaned up for that important upcoming event, from weddings, interviews, graduations or just to feel better. Well, Im here to help I would like to offer my knowledge and expertise to you on a satellite service basis. We can schedule video chat appointments or I can answer questions through text/messenger. Let me help you step away from the scissors and give you some styling tips for that longer do youre rocking right now. We can talk about using styling products as a solution. The Downtown Barber is open for product sales. Are your bangs driving you nuts? I can help with some styling ideas so you dont do something youll regret after. If a trim is really the route you want to take, let me at least walk you through it. PM me and we can set something up. Socializing and helping people feel good about themselves is who I am. I too, am a little lost during this time of social distancing. I know I had planned on being on Maternity Leave, but this is way more than I bargained for. Hi, Just giving my clients a heads up. Ill be gone the 24th-30th for a school trip to Quebec with my daughter. If you need a cut before then Ill be in the shop today til 5, Weds-Fri 10-6, and then Mon the 23rd 10-5. Returning to the shop Weds May 2nd.
