Updated: May 4th, 2020 NEW: The Ministry of Health updated the list of symptoms associated with COVID-19 over the weekend to include pink eye, hoarse voice, dif...ficulty swallowing, sneezing, nasal congestion, vomiting, and abdominal pain. These symptoms have been added to the list which already includes fever, chills, sore throat, new onset or worsening fatigue, loss of taste or smell, new onset or worsening cough, headache, loss of appetite, runny nose, nausea, diarrhea, and shortness of breath. Patients with ANY of these symptoms must call HSNs COVID-19 Assessment Center at 705-671-7373. Patients continue to be screened by a nurse over the telephone, and referred to one of three options if testing is necessary: COVID-19 Assessment Centre at 56 Walford Road, with an additional drive-through testing option (9am-5pm 7 days/week); NEOMO Medical at 885 Prete Street (8am-4pm 7 days/week); New: Drive-Through testing at Primacy Medical Centre, 1485 Lasalle Boulevard, (11:00am-9:00pm 7days/week) All three COVID-19 assessment options are by appointment only. They are designed to protect health workers and patients alike from being exposed to the virus. For safety reasons, walk-in appointments are strictly prohibited. Since opening on March 13th, HSNs COVID-19 Assessment on Walford Road has assessed 4966 patients in total. Of those assessments, 3059 patients were swabbed at the centre in total, with 1262 swabbed via the drive through option. HSN reminds members of the community that if they feel overwhelmed, Crisis Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 705-675-4760, or by visiting HSNs Mental Health and Addictions Centre at 127 Cedar Street from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., 7 days a week. Ces trois options ne sont accessibles que sur rendez-vous. Elles sont conues de sorte protger la fois les travailleurs de la sant et les patients contre une exposition au virus. Pour des raisons de scurit, il est interdit de sy prsenter sans rendez-vous. Depuis son ouverture le 13 mars, le Centre dvaluation de la COVID-19 du chemin Walford a valu un total de 4 966 patients. Sur ce nombre, 3 059 patients y ont subi le test par couvillonnage dont 1 262 au volant. HSN continue de soumettre au dpistage tous les patients et visiteurs qui se prsentent au Centre de sant du lac Ramsey et la Place Kirkwood.
