Only those who live in Canada!!! JOB TITLE: Community Outreach Manager COMPANY: Venture Academy LOCATION: Vancouver, BC... We are looking for a Community Outreach Manager to lead outreach initiatives connecting with strategic partners throughout various communities. While we have multiple locations across Canada, this position gives you an opportunity to work remotely from your home office if preferred. Venture Academy (VA) is a youth and family service organization serving children, adolescents, and young adults. We offer high quality, provincially licensed and accredited programs designed to assist in areas such as substance abuse and mental health. These programs include psychological assessment and counseling, education, and residential treatment services. We are seeking a passionate and driven professional to establish strong relationships with community members and act as VA’s program ambassador. Responsibilities Include: 1. Liaising with community partners to promote VA’s programs through government funding initiatives 2. Responding to inquiries and following-up with referral sources and families they serve 3. Participating in special events and networking opportunities 4. Developing relationships with key community members and stakeholders 5. Maintaining on-going communication with government funding representatives Qualifications: 1. We are seeking a candidate who is a self-starter - someone who will embrace this great opportunity and become an advocate for the VA’s vision and mission. 2. Previous experience in a community outreach position preferred 3. Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service 4. Education in social services, communications or a related discipline is preferred 5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 6. Proficient in MS Office applications and tracking software 7. Ability to travel locally, regionally and occasionally out of province 8.
