Bob Chaulk is at it again... Starting soon we'll be posting a series of sketches featuring the rescuers and their families the descendants of whom still live in the immediate communities. Bob, our historian, has written a new book about the SS Atlantic disaster. It provides new insights into the shocking incompetence that led to the loss of the ship and tells about the rescue of survivors by local fishermen, the survivors' time in Halifax and what happened to them as they w...ent on to their destinations.
