Good morning, SSA U of R team participated in the 40th anniversary of Terry Fox Marathon this year. Our team was successfully able to raise funds for cancer research. This is the third year we have been a part of this awesome organization. Waheguruji ka Khalsa Waheguruji ki Fateh SSA U of R team is participating for the Terry Fox Marathon again this year. This is our third year of participation with Terry Fox. This year it’s little different due to COVID-19. Terry Fox Marathon has provided a virtual way to celebrate the legacy of Marathon of Hope by Terry Fox to raise money for cancer research. ... Our team has decided to rejoin and celebrate the 40th year of anniversary of this noble cause. You can download the Terry Fox App. You will be able to complete different challenges on day to day basis. On September 20, you can walk, run, bike or stroll behind your backyard, near your neighborhood, anywhere you feel comfortable and practice social distancing. Good evening, SSA U of R team is happy to share the official conclusion of the No Hungry Tummy (NHT) Project in Regina. We are thankful to our volunteers for actively putting their efforts in this uncertain time of COVID 19 Pandemic. ... We are grateful to all organizations and individuals who have contributed to this project. All the remaining food supplies of the NHT Project was donated to the Regina Food Bank after the end of this project. Thank you to all families, elders, and students for reaching out to the team and providing an opportunity to serve them. Good morning to everyone. Sikh community of Regina and SSA U of R team wanted to share gratitude to the Families, Elders, and Students who gave us an opportunity to serve them during this uncertain times of the pandemic. We are grateful for receiving so much love, blessing, and support from the community and several different organization (City of Regina, Sask 211 help line service, RPIRG, Carillon U of R, Global news, CBC Saskatchewan, and many more).... We have successfully completed 5+ months of No Hungry Tummy project. We are thankful to our several volunteers, and community members for their emotional, mental, and financial support to execute this project and serve the communities around in Regina. Our team has concluded the No Hungry Tummy Project. We are happy to share the screenshot of some great feedback and appreciation that gave our team more strength and positivity. We are also Thankful to respected Prime Minister Mr. Justin Trudeau for the acknowledgement of the community service done by Sikh Community of Regina during the pandemic on the occasion of Vaisakhi.
