A verse for today! Romans 15:4 Everything written in the past was written to teach us. The Scriptures give us strength to go on. They encourage us and give us hope. We often read the NIrV with our children. It’s easy to read and understand at a child’s level. ... What a great reminder this verse was to me that in this time when hope and encouragement might be hard to find as we look at our world, that we can always find encouragement and strength by reading, studying, and focusing on God’s word. This verse has reminded me today of the great value in setting aside a time, even if it’s just a few minutes each day, to read and discuss God’s word together as a family. It will encourage us, give us hope and remind us as we see God at work in the lives of those we read about in scripture that God is always aware, always in control, and always caring for us and meeting our needs. Do any of you have any family devotion or family Bible reading resources that your family has found valuable? Does anyone have any ideas of things you do to engage your children when doing devotions together? Let’s help each other in our efforts to make God’s word central to our family life!

Hello all! I can't believe I am posting about Christmas, but yes, it is the time of year for planning for it! Bethel will be having an in-person Sunday School service starting September 20th! Parents will need to stay with their children and enjoy as a family all the great fun and Bible teaching we have planned. Change isn’t always easy...this year has shown us that...but God remains in control and sometimes change can give us different opportunities and blessings. Hi Parents and Students! We have some news for you. Bethel Sunday School will be reopening on Sunday September 20th for families. In order to provide a safe Sunday School environment for students, parents/guardians, and volunteers, we will be using a large group Sunday School format where parents or guardians will stay with and sit with their children in the Fellowship Hall (6 feet away from other family groups). Seats will be limited to 45 pre-registered individuals. The... Sunday School service will consist of a Bible lesson designed for children as well as games and activities. When Sunday School commences, the main service will once again be at 11:00 am, while the Sunday School service will be hour in length from 10:15 am 10:45 am. Sunday School will use the South Entrance to the Fellowship Hall for entering and exiting. If you and your children register, please plan to arrive early so we can get families seated and begin the service at 10:15 am. We will continue to post weekly activity papers on the Bethel Website and on this Facebook page for those who are not yet returning to in-person Sunday School. See more

Over the past few weeks our evenings have involved less running around! As a result, we’ve been able to spend some time reading as a family some of these books about inspiring men and women of faith. It has been wonderful to read and see how God always remains faithful, even in difficult circumstances.
