Each month, GEES TREE REMOVAL SERVICE, one of our local businesses, selects an organization to be the recipient of a donation. The Sault Ste. Marie Public Lib...rary was pleased to be selected as their September 2020 recipient and the funds that we received from this donation were designated for Early Literacy materials for Children’s Programming at the North Branch Library. Take a look at some of the great items that we were able to purchase. We look forward to being able to use these great tools in our future children’s programs at the North Branch Library. Great news! North Branch will be reopening on Wednesday November 18th. Please note: The Library will be continuing with its increased its cleaning protocols. E...veryone entering the library will be required to wear a mask. In-library programming is still suspended, however virtual programming for all ages will continue to be made available to library users through the Library’s website and social media. Only 20 patrons will be allowed inside the North Branch at any time. Services that are not available at this time include: Room Rentals, Copying/Scanning/Faxing services, Visiting Library Service, Daily Periodicals/Newspapers, Educational Toys in the Children’s areas, Study Area Space, Self-service Public Access Catalogues, Water Fountains, 3D printing, and VHS-DVD Conversion.
