Dear St. Albert Public families: Our priority during this pandemic has been to do everything possible to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff. To continue to do so, we need your help. Alberta Health Services (AHS) is overwhelmed with the rising numbers of positive COVID-19 cases, and as a result they can take several days to contact a school in the case of a student’s positive test result. This can have serious implications regarding possible spread withi...n the school and community. We ask, then, that you contact your child's school as soon as possible if your child receives a positive COVID-19 test result. This critical step will allow the school to develop close contact and isolation lists immediately and to begin taking steps to inform other families and prevent further spread. Even if it is outside of normal school hours, we ask that you email or phone your principal as soon as you can. Please be assured that we will never share you child’s private health information or identify your child in any way. Thank you for working with us to help keep all our students and staff safe.

It’s that time again. our Christmas 2020 Purdys Chocolate Fundraiser is now underway! This is a big fundraiser for us as Lorne Akins gets 25% back in profits f...rom the total chocolate sold! That’s a huge amount of money for us to be able to put toward technology and other school programs. PRIZES!!! Purdys has made it very simple for us. Your student has been given a unique order number. This number can be passed on to your family and friends. Remind them to enter this number when they place their online orders. That way your student gets the credit for any order submitted. We will be having daily chocolate giveaways for the top individual seller of the day, a gift card for our top sellers for Grade 7, 8 and 9 as well as a couple of random draws for gift cards, so every student has a chance to win.
