Good morning. Today, we write the Scripture John 7:10-13: However, after his brothers had left for the festival, he went also, not publicly, but in secret. Now at the festival the Jewish leaders were watching for Jesus and asking, Where is he? Among the crowds there was widespread whispering about him. Some said, He is a good man.... Others replied, No, he deceives the people. But no one would say anything publicly about him for fear of the leaders.

Good morning, friends. Today, we learn more about the goodness of our God writing Luke 6:32-36: If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Good morning, friends. Today, we write Luke 6:27-31: But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you.

Good Monday morning, friends. Today, we write Romans 8:26-28: In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Friends, today's Scripture that illustrates God's goodness to us is Romans 11:19-22: You will say then, Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in. Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.

We continue our study of Jesus miracles, today writing Mark 7:28-30: Lord, she replied, even the dogs under the table eat the childrens crumbs. Then he told her, For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter. She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

Greetings, friends. Today, we write Mark 7:26-27: The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter. First let the children eat all they want, he told her, for it is not right to take the childrens bread and toss it to the dogs.

Friends, today we write Mark 7:24-25: Jesus left that place and went to the vicinity of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet he could not keep his presence secret. In fact, as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an impure spirit came and fell at his feet.

Today, we write Mark 6:53-56: When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret and anchored there. As soon as they got out of the boat, people recognized Jesus. They ran throughout that whole region and carried the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was. And wherever he wentinto villages, towns or countrysidethey placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.

Good morning, friends. Today, we read and write Mark 6:48-50: He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. Shortly before dawn he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them, but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, Take courage! It is I. Dont be afraid.

Good morning, dear friends. Today, we continue learning about Jesus miracle of the loaves and fishes as we write Mark 6:45-47: Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd. After leaving them, he went up on a mountainside to pray. Later that night, the boat was in the middle of the lake, and he was alone on land.

Good morning! Todays Scripture, selected for us to write, is Mark 6:40-44: So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish. The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.

Good morning! Today, we write Mark 6:34-36: When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things. By this time it was late in the day, so his disciples came to him. This is a remote place, they said, and its already very late. Send the people away so that they can go to the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.

Hello, friends. Todays Scripture selection is Mark 7:36-37: Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it. People were overwhelmed with amazement. He has done everything well, they said. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.

Good Sabbath morning, friends. Today, the Scripture chosen for us to write is Mark 7:33-35: After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the mans ears. Then he spit and touched the mans tongue. He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, Ephphatha! (which means Be opened!). At this, the mans ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly.

DAY FIVE: Holiness is sacrifice We talk a lot about the loving sacrifice Jesus made for us so that we would not have to pay the penalty for our sins. But someti...mes we forget to talk about the sacrifices that we need to make while following Jesus. Ok, maybe we dont actually forget, maybe we just decide to not talk about them or pretend like they dont exist. Holiness is sacrifice because Holiness goes against every natural desire of our human bodies. Are you ready to rough it? may not have been Jesus exact words but those 5 short words pretty much sum up the Christian life. Its not all skittles and rainbows, its not all happiness and perfection, its trials and hard climbs and tears and dusting yourself off and claiming Jesus and His holiness over and over again. Are you ready to rough it? Read: Luke 9:43-62 Write: Make a list of some of the things in your life that you find really hard to sacrifice. Pray: God, show me the ways I can sacrifice more for you. Do: Pick one thing on that list and figure out what you need to do to give it up. DAY THREE: Holiness is hard Dont be fooled by the pretty pictures with the bible and the scriptures and the simple definitions. Holiness is hard. Going against... the flow, swimming upstream while everyone is drifting down is not easy. Sometimes, depending on where you are and who you surround yourself with, true Godly Holiness can be lonely and make you feel like a crazy person. I wake up in the morning with the best intentions to be kind and loving to my husband, to be patient and caring to my children and to try and find those little moments throughout my day to share the love of Jesus with others. Usually by the time I get my kids out the door for school my holiness has been tested, Ive already yelled once at my husband and now I am to talk to someone about Jesus? No thanks, I just want to keep my head down and get the day done. Nothing that comes with holiness is the natural way we do things. Holiness is hard. Its a choice that we have to make about 50 times before the kids get out the door and another 50 before lunch. Its hard but its worth it. Read: Colossians 3:1-17 Write: Make a list of the things that stop you from perusing holiness every day. Maybe they are found in verses 8 or 9. Pray: God, help me identify and work on those things I get entangled in each day Do: Pick one thing from the list you made and tell someone about your struggle. The girl is not dead but asleep. But they laughed at him. After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up. News of this spread through all that region.

Hello, friends. Todays Scripture selection is Matthew 9:20-22: Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed. Jesus turned and saw her. Take heart, daughter, he said, your faith has healed you. And the woman was healed at that moment.

Good morning, all. Todays Scripture is Mark 5:40-43 But they laughed at him. After he put them all out, he took the childs father and mother and the disciples who were with him, and went in where the child was. He took her by the hand and said to her, Talitha koum! (which means Little girl, I say to you, get up!). Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished. He gave strict orders not to let anyone know about this, and told them to give her something to eat.

Good Sabbath morning, friends. Todays Scripture selection is Mark 5:35-39: While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. Your daughter is dead, they said. Why bother the teacher anymore? Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, Dont be afraid; just believe.... He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James and John the brother of James. When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw a commotion, with people crying and wailing loudly. He went in and said to them, Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.

Today, friends, we continue learning about Jesus miracle with Mark 5:30-34: At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, Who touched my clothes? You see the people crowding against you, his disciples answered, and yet you can ask, Who touched me? ... But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. He said to her, Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.
