#ICYMI Have you ever wanted your creativity to be on display? Participate in our T-shirt contest and it could become a reality. Guidelines For T-shirt Contest:... 1. Open to All Ages. 2. Entry fee $10 (Entry fee must be paid by January 31st for your design to be considered). 3. Image must be submitted as png or jpeg, with at least 300 dpi 4. Winning design may need to be adjusted after submission to follow AFM brand guidelines and limitations the printer may have. 5. You can decide t-shirt colour for your design (but this may end up slightly different as we have to use predetermined colours offered by the t-shirt manufacturer) 6. Winning designer will not be financially compensated, but will receive a free t-shirt and be credited for the design. 7. To submit design, please email image to [email protected] 8. Deadline to submit design is Sunday, January 31st at midnight. 9. Submissions will be narrowed down to a group of finalists. The winning design will be chosen by the most votes on our social media channels. 10. Winning design will appear on a t-shirt that will be sold exclusively at the Amherstburg Freedom Museum. 11. A write up about the winning designer will appear in the Talking Drum, the news section of our website and on our social media channels. 12. Original designs only. Beginning Monday, January 11th, the Ministry of Education will allow Grade 11 and 12 students to remove a course with full disclosure up until January 15th, 2021. If a student chooses to remove a course with full disclosure, they will be removed from the course, no mark will appear on the student transcript, and no credit will be issued. As well, no alternate course will be added to a student's schedule at this point in the quadmester, and so the student will have a spare. Al...l materials, textbooks, etc. must be returned to the teacher immediately. To process the full disclosure request an email must be sent by the parent/guardian of the student to the student's respective Guidance Counsellor. It must include: student's name course to drop teacher's name Requests to drop a course after 2:10pm on January 15th will NOT be processed.
