St Clair Bass Anglers

Tournament 3 was held yesterday out of Lakeview Marina in Windsor under excellent weather conditions. Team Brian, Brian Scurr and Brian Boyd found the giant smallies and won the tournament. Their 5 fish weighed in at 23.92 lbs! They also brought the biggest bass to the scales, a 5.44 lb monster. That fish is the largest bass weighed so far this year. Second place went to Derek Soulliere and Trevor Bourque with a weight of 18.13 lbs. Third was taken by Dennis Gignac and Nic Gerasimoff with a weight of 12.85 lbs. The final tournament, the Invitational, will be held in three weeks on August 25 out of Lakeview Marina. Team of the Year will be decided on that day. A reminder to the anglers, the entry fee for this tournament is $200. See you there.

Tournament #2 was held yesterday out of Lakeview Marina. After a week of near record heat, and an early morning rain shower, Sunday was a calm and cooler day for tournament fishing. Congratulations to the team of Chris Litschko and Kurt Davidson. They took first place with a total of 18.35 lbs of smallmouth. Chris had the biggest bass of the day, a 4.76 lber. Second went to Phil(fish) Lachance and Tyler Davidson who weighed 17.02 lbs. Third place went to Jim Lukas and Brendan... Davidson with a weight of 16.36 lbs. Several anglers mentioned that it was a tough bite yesterday and the fish were very scattered. Tournament #3 is in 2 weeks on August 4. Just a reminder, to qualify for the Invitational, anglers need to fish 2 out of the first 3 tournaments, and Team of the Year is based on a team's best 3 weights (may include the Invitational). No Rain??? Tournament #1 was held today at Lakeview Marina under absolutely perfect weather conditions.....sunny and fair! Even the swarms of fishflies at blast off couldnt put a damper on the perfect conditions! A big congrats to Team Brian.... Brian Scurr and Brian Boyd who won the tournament with a total of 21.67 lbs of smallmouth. With a very close second was Derek Souilliere and Trevor Bourque who weighed in 21.61 lbs. Derek and Trevor had the big fish of the day with a 5.16 smallie. Third went to Dennis Gignac and Nic Gerasimoff who had 18.28 lbs. Tournament #2 will be held out of Lakeview Marina on Sunday July 21. The summer is going to fly by. Dont regret not getting out and fishing while the weather is warm.....see you on the 21st!
