St. Davids Seniors House Delta

Thank you Bob and Fiona for clearing our pathways during the past few snowy days!

What a special Valentine’s Day! Not only did both houses have lovely meals prepared by Fiona and Maricar, but we all received beautiful Valentine’s Day wreaths made by Div 6 at Southpark Elementary and Homemade Cards by elementary students from Cloverdale. Also, Alexandria O, a generous friend of SDH, brought absolutely delicious donuts for everyone from Boca Grande. A special thanks to our community for making our day so special!

Our ladies of the North House practice their Balance and Strength exercises together while enjoying the beauty of Glacier National Park on our brand new television. A huge thank you to the families and friends who donated to our TV fund and made the purchase of new TV’s possible for both our houses.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us through 2020. It was a tough year at times, but made easier knowing we had one another to lean on. We are looking forward to 2021 with optimism and positivity. Happy New Year to all!

The south house got into the spirit of things, by coming to dinner dressed up for Halloween!

Our residents in the North House were a bit sad we couldn’t have trick or treaters this year, so they decided to make special Halloween bags for a local Kindergarten/Grade one class. In true Covid 19 style, the children received disposable gloves filled with candy! Thank you to our kind group of residents who made these special Halloween treats for the children!

Fiona, our Coordinator in the South House is the proud mom of her new Tea Cup Yorkie, Emmie! She is the sweetest pup and there is no shortage of laps to sit in or friends To cuddle with here!

The ladies in the South House are improving their flexibility and balance by taking part in chair yoga three times a week.

Beautiful Linda from the North House celebrated her birthday on October 29th! Raija made one of her famous birthday cakes! This time it was a Chocolate Ganache Orange Cake with Salted Caramel.

A huge thank you to Paul Gibbons of the Medicine Shoppe for holding our flu vaccine clinic today. We all appreciate how safe and convenient you made this for us Paul!
