While we have to wait until after the provincial shut down is over, we hope to have the lottery up and running soon. An anonymous donor wanted to show their appreciation to local healthcare staff working on Christmas Day by nominating them all for their Guardian Angel pins. Thanks to the efforts of the dietary department, every staff member working day or night shift on Christmas received their special pin. The donor simply wanted to thank them for caring while being away from their family. Talk about having luck on your side!! Brad Parisien of Barry’s Bay is the very first repeat winner of the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation's Catch the Ace weekly prize!! His name was first pulled in the Week 31 draw, where he took home $3,088. He had luck on his side in the Week 43 draw, where his ticket was drawn once again! This time, Brad took home an impressive $6,217.... He purchased the ticket at Charlie D’s in Barry’s Bay, and chose envelope number 47 his age. The envelope revealed the three of diamonds. Brad plans on using his winnings for Christmas gifts. The Weekly Prize for Week #44 is estimated at $5,834.00 and if the Ace of Spades is found, the Total Winnings will be around $183,749.00!!
