The 2016 Potato Olympics have been taking place over the past two weeks. Mrs. Gibeault would like to thank the grade 6 class for their creativity and dedication to the success of the games. Members of all of the committees - engineers, paramedics, public relations officers, event coordinators, equipment managers, scorekeepers - were amazing! The individual medals and Olympic trophy will be awarded Friday at our closing ceremonies.

The Grade 5 class has been celebrating a successful year with some exciting camp-themed math and science activities this month with Mrs. Gibeault. Featured pictures include airplane designing and flight testing in the hallway, lava lamps, and "quick sand."

Today our grade 5-6 ball hockey team represented St. George well as they battled hard, finishing third overall in a semi-final shoot out. What an exciting finish to a fun-filled day of teamwork and great sportsmanship! Way to go Dragons!

There is a buzz in the air as our grade 6 class is busy preparing for the 2016 Potato Olympics. Athletes have started to arrive!
