We appreciate everyone of you and your kinds words mean so much to our volunteers who work each and every month to bring you fish fry! Late Friday afternoon, the Province of Ontario announced that the County of Brant will move to the RED zone as described in the Covid-19 Response Framework: Kee...ping Ontario Open and Safe as of 12:01 am December 21, 2020. As a result of this announcement The RCL Branch 605 St. George will be closed effective immediately. We thank you for your support. Merry Christmas and do the right thing to keep us all safe. Please be aware that there will not be a live Remembrance Day event at the Cenotaph this year out of an abundance of caution. The St. George Legion has made th...is decision to discourage public gatherings at Memorial Park on November 11th. We are very respectful of our veterans and we need to honour the sacrifice they have made. At the same time, we also have to follow the Covid-19 protocols that are in place and assure the safety of our community members. While this was a difficult decision, we believe it is the correct path to follow at this time. It is our intention to honour our veterans this year with a virtual Remembrance Day experience online. We are in the process of developing content that will be shared through our new web site that will be active on November 11th. To be clear, we will not have a live event at Memorial Park on Remembrance Day. All of the content that we will be sharing will be prepared in advance and in a safe manner. We believe this will provide a respectable recognition of our veterans while following the safety protocols that are in place and necessary to protect our community. As we get closer to November 11th, we will provide further details on our Remembrance Day plans for our virtual experience. See more

Today's the day!!! Legion re-opens at 4:00 p.m. We are excited to welcome everyone back. Wed, Thurs, Fri 4:00 -7:00 p.m.. COVID protocols in place. Masks and ...social distancing enforced. Alcoholic beverages $5 and $7. Pop, water and chips $2. Tickets will need to be purchased from cashier upon entry and are only valid for date of purchase. We are looking for volunteers to help. If you can spare four hours a week to help with tickets sales, cleaning, or bar tending (Smart Serve Certification required) we would love to have you. Speak to President Ed for more details.
