Two saddles were found blowing around the field,anyone recognize them?

The summer students are almost finished and have done an absolutely wonderful job. They filled in plots and seeded them all, mowed fixed the shed. They have been very productive.. Did you know if you stone has fallen over the company you purchased from most times will upright it for free. If your cemetery stone has fallen over give your supplier a call.

Erin is working hard to keep the CommonWealth War graves watered.Next week Erin will be working in trimming bushes and removing ones that not survived the winter. We prefer saddles as opposed to flowers just stuck in the grass.When stuck in the grass it makes it very dififficult to mow. Solar lights are also very hard to mow around.The are 4000 stones up there.Thank You. Candis Cook and Debs Flowers are places you could chech for saddles

Thank you to the Town of St George for the load of topsoil.. We can begin filling plots and seeding again.

Please remember the Cemetery has regulations . No borders of any type. If a wall needs replacing you must contact us to see if it will be permitted. Also please remember to limit solar lights, the regulations Do Not permit these but if it is neatly placed near the stone it is alright. Some lots have 6 -8 lights all over the plot, this make it very hard to mow. Before placing a monument notify us as well .7550967 7546134 if you have questions.. If you do things without asking ,you could be asked to remove it. We are trying to keep the Cemetery as nice as possible. Please share this .Thank you

The students started today, please remember social distancing if you need to speak to one. Also remember they will be cleaning the lots ,so if you have glass items left on your lot please come get them as they will be removed..

PLEASE SHARE The St George Cemetery is officially opening next week. We hired some workers ,but are still waiting to hear from the Federal Summer program . Workers will begin cleaning Christmas wreath ,old faded flowers and any broken things. They will be removing many branches that have fallen to the ground.. Please be aware all broken and old faded this WILL be removed, this includes solar light that have broken over the winter. If you want to save something ,go up this wee...k and retrieve it. Please remember we do not permit anything glass in the cemetery and rebar will also be removed to protect our students. This year will be a little different ,we will be hiring a supervisor who works daily with the students. That person will be responsible for daily things, concerns ,sunken lots etc..We will post his name once this is complete.
