***** 2020 Season Update ***** To our football families and community, Tackle football is currently in phase two of its return to play protocols. With the time restraints of our season and what phase two allows us to do, combined with the recent increase in cases of COVID-19 in the province, it is not likely that we enter phase three in the near future. With consideration for the safety of our players, coaches and volunteers we have made the difficult choice of cancelling o...ur 2020 season. The board members of the MMJFL have unanimously voted to cancel the the 2020 MMJFL football season as a result of health restrictions derived from the COVID-19 ...pandemic. This has been a difficult decision and we understand that this is a very disappointing announcement, however the health and safety of the players, coaches, trainers, officials, and spectators is paramount. At this point, Manitoba Health has not approved even a modified return to play directive to Football Manitoba. Age eligibility concerns will be addressed at a later date. We look forward to working with you when we return to play for the 2021 season. Stay safe and healthy.
