School Photo Day is happening tomorrow, Tuesday October 20th. Students are being asked not to wear the colour green as it will conflict with the background screen. This green screen will allow choices of different backgrounds and will affect any article of clothing that is also green.

Today is World Teachers’ Day and St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School is very blessed to have incredible teachers. They are dedicated and committed to helping to bring out the very best in our students. Please thank a teacher today for their tireless efforts!!

Ms. McElroy can’t wait to start visiting classes next week. She’s looking forward to seeing all of the students enjoying the great books she’s put into each class box!!

We are so lucky to have Ms. Jaynes as our Early Childhood Educator in our Kindergarten class. She puts smiles on our young students and helps them to be successful in school. Thank you Ms. Jaynes!!

We are very excited to start welcoming students back to school tomorrow!! A very important email went out this afternoon to all families about changes that have taken place, so please read it carefully. If you did not receive it, please call the school to let us know. A reminder that students with the last name A - K will come on Thursday and Monday. Students with the last name L - Z will come Friday and Tuesday. Stay safe everyone

Thank you to all of the students and their families for doing the best that they could during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. Families are reminded that June 19th (Gr. 8), June 23th & 24th (K - 7) are the dates for drop off and pick up of student items. An email was sent out by our secretary, Wanita, letting each family know their specific day and time to come to the school. Please make sure you have thoroughly read the email and confirmed your appointment with Wanita. Thank you everyone! We miss all of you!!

This Monday, May 18th is Victoria Day. Thank you to all of the parents and guardians for trying your best to keep your children engaged in their learning at home. A reminder that this Monday is a statutory holiday so the staff of St. Joesph will not be available to be reached. We wish all of our families a safe and relaxing long weekend!
