St Micheal's and All Angels is one of the oldest buildings in the Kootenays, built in 1892 and has served the Balfour and Outlet Communities for over 128 years. The Balfour and District Business and Historical Association (BDBHA) are trying to preserve our history by buying the building from the Anglican Church. The aim is to continue to rent the building as a Chapel for services and weddings as well host performing groups (like string quartets) that can take advantage of the wonderful acoustics.
