October's challenge was available exclusively on the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Here's a sneak peek at what classes will be attempting this month. Congratulations! The virtue for October was Courage.

Miigwech to Elder Roy Napish of Migisi Sahgaigan and Linda Guimond and Lavana Fox of Couchiching First Nation for sharing their knowledge and culture.

Last week, Mrs. Bartkowski's class estimated how many seeds were in a big and small pumpkin then the students worked together to count the seeds. The big pumpkin had 480 seeds and small pumpkin had 541 seeds.

Mme Gushulak’s class along with Mrs.Potter explored problem solving and teamwork to build a snow fort big enough they could all fit in.

The Grade 3 French Immersion students completed these drawings after discussing what scares them and what monsters are. For many of the students, this art work engaged their imaginations. The students loved working with pastels.

Students in Ms.Morrison’s Grade 5/6 Class worked collaboratively to trouble shoot, think critically, and persevere in order to solve problems using Breakout EDU earlier this week.

Mme. Olson and Mme. Kaemingh’s class took advantage of the fresh snow today. The class worked together to create les bonhommes de neige.
