Last year, we had the pleasure to bring together some amazing cultural elements in St. Thomas through our After Dark event series. The Art Centre Edition was on...e such event. Hosted inside the St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre's main exhibition hall and set up like a Parisian salon, we welcomed a group to enjoy the fruits of St. Thomas. Coming soon to the St. Thomas Elevated Park. This bright piece of art, titled May Woods with Trilliums, by Lloyd Johnston, is in the permanent collection of the... St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre and will soon be on view at the Elevated Park as part of the Art, Trees and Trails project. Funded by the estate of Donna Vera Evans Bushell and the Elgin St. Thomas Community Foundation, some 10 pieces of art will be on display throughout our park and trail. Expect to see this one on the eastern approach in late October. See more
