Hello St Thomas Swim School parents! Just so you know, our rain policy for swimming lessons is if its raining we will still have lessons. If it thunderstorms we will reschedule for another day.Hopefully this wont be a problem but just in case!

St Thomas Swim School offers backyard swimming lessons in St Thomas, Ontario for students aged 12 months old to 15 years old. My teaching philosophy is to tailor swimming to suit each students needs. The main objective is to keep swimmers engaged through the use of fun activities. Having fun is a priority in every class. Playing and being comfortable in the water makes learning to swim more memorable and exciting. My main goal is to ensure that students learn to swim and lea...rn to be comfortable and safe around the water. I hope students will develop a love of swimming that will last a lifetime. My name is Emily Houghton and I am the swimming instructor for the swim school. I have been a Red Cross Certified Swimming Instructor for 9 years and a Lifesaving Society Lifeguard for 7 years. I have a passion for teaching and swimming that I hope to share with all my students. I started my own swimming lesson business 4 years ago but I am very excited to be expanding my business this summer. If you have your own pool I will be happy to travel to teach your lessons there or I will be offering lessons in my own backyard pool located at 20 Margaret Street in St. Thomas. I follow the Red Cross Swim Program and offer 10 half hour sessions over the span of two weeks. Classes will run starting the week of July 15th to the week of August 30th, 2019. Classes will be offered Monday-Friday between 9:30 am and 6 pm. Please contact me by calling or texting 519-280-5584 or e-mailing [email protected] to register. Prices: $150.00 per child for 10 half hour sessions (There will be no more than 3 children per class to ensure maximum attention is being given to each individual swimmer)
