Fundraising Concert for Peace DONATION LINK: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/pages/together-for-artsakh/ Internationally-celebrated artists from around the world... will be joining Ara Arakelyan in Toronto and abroad to take a stand against war and its aftermath for civilians, and to celebrate lives and hope that cannot be extinguished. These artists are committing their work to raise awareness of the recent conflict in Artsakh (also known as Nagorno-Karabakh) and its aftermath. A humanitarian crisis has struck ethnic Armenians as they are in dire need of food, shelter, medical supplies, clothing and hygiene products. Donations and proceeds from the auction of paintings by Tamara Harutyunyan, made during the performance, will go to the Hayastan Foundation Toronto, all of which will be used for direct humanitarian support for the civilian population and reconstruction efforts through the region. At a time of heightened conflict and division around the world, this is the chance to speak up for security, decency and an inhumane peace. Important Notice: Due to the latest ceasefire, active combat in this conflict has stopped. As all funds raised are to be used for humanitarian support, we want to emphasise that this includes support for families who have lost their homes, especially those displaced from the seized territories of Artsakh, reconstruction of infrastructure (including that destroyed by illegal cluster munitions and white phosphorus use), and treatment and aid to those injured or permanently disabled by the fighting. This was the aim of fundraising during the conflict, and continues to be so. PROGRAMME YereOne Band 1. Kaqavik 2. Baleni 3. Armenian Tunes 4. Lorik 5. Samba 6. Autumn Yerevan Classical Music 1. F.
