Nov. 9, 2018 Good day to you...and yours. Well, it is almost officially winter, as the snow has blanketed the ground, with freezing rain in the forecast...Blecccchhh! Ptoooieeee!!! Just thought to write a brief message to all you old Bonaventurites before the Yuletide Season; we would like to get-together for an autumn-winter cheer...perhaps a Hot Toddy?! It is November 9th and we would like to formally invite you all for some pre-Christmas Cheer on November 16th, Friday nigh...t at approximately 7:00 p.m., at the Merchants Restaurant and Bar in Marda Loop. For anyone interested, please reply to this e-mail and we hope that we can have some fun before this season gets too hectic. On a good side note, our Calgary Stampeders are playing in the Western Final at McMahon Stadium on November 18th at 2:30 p.m. For those of you who are 'ballers let's cheer 'em on loudly and proudly on that Sunday. I, for one, am going to the game with a couple of Stamps Fans, Debbie Schnell Ryan and Deb Morrison Louden...with great thanks going to Steve McDonough for selling us his "most-excellent" playoff tickets-seats (right behind the Stamps Bench!). Yahooo! Let's hear some noise!!! It will be a lot of fun, I'm sure! On a semi-good-bad-note; Angie Wood Hofmeister is in Calgary, travelling all the way from Erbil, Kurdistan! Yes, where-da-fuck-is-dat? you say...ha! Think Middle-East. Anyways, she is visiting in town for a short while, as some family issues have arisen, and her visit is not for vacation-purposes, but some things need to be taken care of and dealt with. With that said, if you know Angela Corrine, and feel it is a good idea to say hi, please do not hesitate to do so. I know I will, for sure. Welcome home Angela...even if it is freezing and grey, and miserable! Ha! Lori Just Drinkwater has opened up her own design store in St. Albert, Edmonton (too bad it's Deadmonton), and is showing off some amazing wares, accessories, and home-design ideas, just in time for the Christmas Season!
